  • Blood drive~

    yay~ I did my good deed for the day! haha

    I never donated blood before so this was quite a new experience for me.... Man that needle is huge though... I wasn't sure if I was healthy enough to donate, but I ate a lot of meat lately so my iron level was pretty high... my blood sank like a rock when they tested it. And from the stories I hear from my friends, it takes like forever to fill up a bag... but I was surprised to see how quickly it filled up... it took 5 minutes or less to fill it all up! I was amazed... I saw my blood gushing through the tube... so why do I feel so sluggish all the time then? I guess I'm just lazy =_=;; But MAN. That needle is huge. I saw it, and then I regretted seeing it... I just can't imagine what it's like for people who had the nurse poke around several times for a vein... eeEEEeee *cringes*  Apparently, I have good veins... not sure if that means that it is big or visible or what...

    but anyways, I got free cookies! yayyy~~ and I saw a lot of people walk by, including a spaced-out melissa. LOL. She did NOT look happy, walking rather sluggishly towards school... *snickers* I couldn't really get her attention since I was inside a van...

    ahhhhh I can't wait for the 7th season of Gilmore Girls... also can't wait for the last few episodes of Lost... o.o it's so crazy towards the season finale...

  • TUNA!

    Seriously. Tuna never tasted so good before. Yummmm~~~ It's probably because 1.) I haven't had any fish in a looooong time. 2.) Everything else takes too long to make. 3.) I'm DAMN hungry! RAWR!

    Honestly, I think that my Japanese theater class is getting crazier. But I guess it's interesting to have something weird in my schedule, so I don't die of sheer boredom. Like Management. UGH.

    I think I'll become a nurse. I don't know for sure, but I think it's the best option for me right now... don't ask, just nod along. :) So if I go along with this plan, I can be busy for the next 4-6 years. Whoohoo~! Actually, I am probably not ready for the real world and school keeps me from going out there. Therefore, I shall try my best to stay in school for as long as I can. Yessssss~

    I want... funnel cake... with powdered sugar and strawberry jam... and vanilla ice cream.... EGAD!!!!

  • Pissed

    Jury Duty and Midterms. ARGH. I got my summons and I am pissed because their automated telephone system SUCKS. Well, maybe I shouldn't say anything, since the government might find me as a potential anarchist. I don't know. But anyways, they scheduled for freakin finals week, and they better let me postpone it, otherwise that could affect my diploma. Yeah, the reason why I was here for 4 years. I truly think that the justice department should layoff all college students, because WE DON'T HAVE TIME. Find us during the summer, and even then, there's people taking summer school classes.... RAWR!

    Okay, so I was hoping that by not registering to vote, I could get away from jury duty for awhile... well I guess I can finally vote now... not that I would vote for anything involving elections... maybe propositions... *sigh*  I heard they use the driver's license pool to pick people for jury duty now... Well, considering that it took them 5 years after I got my license, that doesn't seem TOO bad... *mumbles to herself* but hey, they pay you $15 an hour to wait around a courtroom all day... Kinda sounds excessive, but I'm not complaining.... hehehe

    I hate the Yale system. It can go to hell. It makes Korean romanization unnecessarily hard and pointless. Japanese romanization is so much easier in comparison.

    Rose gave me evil stuff. Evil stuff with good jdrama on it.... Hahaha, she named the dvd "Evil Stuff".... oh the temptation... must... not... watch... kurosagi.... >_<;;
    well, maybe after midterms... or during.... *shifty eyes* o_O

    The government gave my money back. Yay for tax returns! But if you think about it, it's not really giving you money... it's more like deducting a portion of the amount that the government took from you already T_T ... poor college student here....

  • I want to go to Magic Mountain! I know I've been saying this over the past year, but this time, we must go! Maybe after midterms or after finals....

    I have GOT to stop looking at Lush's website. Egad Candice, what are you trying to do?  I want the Tramp and Still Life Ballistic now.... and maybeeeee the Happy soap... man, talking about Lush makes me sound like a lunatic (which I probably am, for spending so much on it -_-). I just love Love LOVE~~~~ the Flying Fox! It smells just like Godiva, and it makes me want to eat myself. Flying Fox + Godiva = bathroom smelling like jasmine and honey. YUM~~!

    alright, gotta stop procrastinating and get on track. Bummer, dude.

    Hahaha~ I just saw this and it made me crack up so hard: 꿈과 희망찬 뒤질래 랜드

    that's pretty scary for Disneyland, hahaha~

  • Supreme Idiocity Reigns

    Yes. Never have I been SO GLAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE that my 'rents work graveyard shifts. PHEW.

    Yeah, my face turned sheet white when I saw in my call history. Family 1min 01secs. Amagad. Yes. Please keep the phone away from me during such moments, thank you. Because I think this is only the beginning... egad, egad... Not all me, since I do need to socialize, you know, come out of my cave and all....

    Gosh all the stupid things I do... well, you only live once... and gotta do all those stupid things before I get too old to get away with it, heehee. How the heck do I live with my retardedness sometimes, I do not know... but I have to admit, all the crazy stuff I did are pretty funny... It's good to laugh at yourself, yes... :)

  • Takarazuka

    So in my modern Japanese theater class, the topic of the week was the Takarazuka. Normally, I wouldn't talk about school stuff, but this is really fascinating. The Takarazuka is an all female musical troupe unique to Japanese culture. The tickets for every performance are sold out in just one day, and it's pretty incredible. Why are they so special and unique? Because of the fact that the male-character actresses are so convincingly male. They exude maleness from their very pores. Well, on stage, that is. We saw some of their performances and I just couldn't believe their stage presence and charisma. It's like knock you over the head and make you dizzy for months scale of charisma. Haha, it sounds like I'm leaning into lesbianism, but no. It's pretty amazing that these women can pull it off so well. If I ever go to Japan, I am definitely going to see a performance. If you know of the anime The Rose of Versailles, the stage version of this for the Takarazuka performances is said to be the best thing to watch. This is what made Takarazuka even more popular than ever... so now I wanna watch the Rose of Versailles, after all that haggling that my friends have given me before (ahem, mel) .... heehee~

    Lush party on Friday! :D Can't wait to buy more soaps, bubblies, and creams

  • April Bdays!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CANDICE AND KAT!!!!

    I still can't believe that you're 22 now, Candice... you're like... really old.... hahaha. But you look like 12! What is your secret?

    ....and don't tell me that it's LUSH. Although, I tried it out today and my skin feels... different. It's not in a bad way, but it feels like there's something there but not. Kinda hard to explain, but I can't wait to try out the shampoo bars~ muahahhaha! The facial cleanser was so mild and soothing though, hehe. Noooo~ you're drawing me into your cult!!! AHHHH

    And KAT! You're finally 21!!! Too bad you don't have a photo ID, or you'd be hitting them bars up in no time. kakaka~ Thanks for being an awesome roomie, and congrats! You're finally a real adult now... *sniff sniff* My wittle kitty kat is all grown up. I guess this means that you'll finally stop your delusions of sexiness?

    .... I don't know why, but this reminds me to tell you guys to start our mgmt papers... cuz I know one was obsessed with gilmore girls and the other with maple story.... -_-

    Gmarket is so fast! I got my stuff in ten days! I... I... I think I would like to move to Korea, just for the clothes... it's SO PRETTY. The skirts are just so lovely... Yes, yes, I admit it. I'm a skirt addict. A closet one, though. Hee~

    I have new found respect for subtitle translators out there... it's hard, especially trying to figure out how to translate idioms, since it's usually based on that country's unique cultural background... _-_  It's hard, but I think it's pretty fun. I like languages Well, not so fun when your Word is messed up because it's default is an Asian layout that makes typing in English very screwy. I say that the US should stop being stubborn and give up its stupid metric system. Everyone else uses meters and grams, geez. Trying too hard to be "cool," probably -__-;;
