  • Thousand Hands

I get a bit distracted when I'm studying for tests, so I looked the Chinese dance group that's famous for their routine, "Thousand Hands." What's special about them is that they are all handicapped, as in deaf, blind, and mute. But that doesn't stop them from being beautiful dancers, and it's amazing to see them perform. On stage, they are not bound by their disabilities, and you realize dance and music is pretty much universal. It's really inspiring for me to watch~ They were featured on the LA Times, when I actually happened to read it~ Good article. The group is called the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe.
